Summer is here! And at LEWA, we do our best to package everything with care to keep your candles, body butters, and bath bombs safe during transit. Even when it's blazing hot in places like Georgia, Texas, or California. So far, we haven’t had a single summer complaint (whew!), but with temps hitting the 90s and beyond, it’s something we’re always mindful of.
Here’s what you might notice during the summer months, and what you can do if your products arrive looking a little...sun-kissed😁:
🕯️ Candle "Sweat" Is Totally Normal
You may notice tiny droplets on top of your candles. That’s what we call 'candle sweat'. It can happen when the candle is exposed to high heat during shipping. No worries...it doesn’t affect the scent or how the candle burns. Just let your candle sit at room temperature to cool down, and it’ll be good to go.
🧴 Body Butter May Melt or Settle
Our body butters are whipped and fluffy when they leave us, but since they’re made from natural oils and butters (no fillers here!), heat can cause them to melt or appear less full in the jar.
If that happens:
• Pop it in the fridge for a little bit to help it solidify.
• Or if you’re feeling fancy, grab a clean hand mixer and re-whip it yourself for that fluffy texture.
Melted or whipped, the moisturizing power and nourishing benefits stay the same. Promise.
🛁 Bath Bombs Might Get Softer
Sometimes heat can make your bath bombs a little softer or more fragile. If they break or crumble, don’t fret...you can still sprinkle the crumbles into your bath for the same relaxing soak. Or you can click here to see the other things you can do with your bath bombs :)

We ship all our packages through UPS and USPS. And while we pack everything with love and care, things like tracking your package and bringing them indoors quickly can make all the difference in protecting your products from the summer heat.
Not going to be home?... Ask a neighbor or friend to grab it for you. Or you can create a free USPS Informed Delivery or UPS My Choice account to get delivery alerts, tracking updates and even the options to change your delivery date or location (if eligible).
These simple steps can help prevent your goodies from sitting in the summer sun too long.
